BRANSON, Mo., October 5, 2014 – The iconic Branson venue, “The Grand Palace,” in which stars such as Kenny Rogers, Carrie Underwood, Tony Bennett, Bill Cosby and many more performed and in which events such as the “Radio City Rockettes Christmas Show” and the “Miss USA Pageant” were held, has been sold for $2.7 million to the “Branson Entertainment Center – Branson,” LLC (BECB). After being closed for a number of years, the sale was announced this week by Greg Hernandez, a spokesperson for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation who has been the Receiver for the property since 2009. It is reported that documents filed in connections with the sale with Taney County name Raubia Sundher as the manager of BECD.

Sundher is the managing partner of Kuvera Partners whose holdings include the “Hollywood Wax Museum,” with locations throughout the country including Branson. He has led Kuvera Partners since 1987 during which time “his expertise in improving existing facilities as well as building in new markets has enabled Kuvera to quadruple its revenues. He “is responsible for strategic acquisition of new properties and supervising all phases of development and construction for Kuvera,” is a founding member of the Hollywood Business Improvement District, a member of the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions and serves as co-chair of the Tourism Committee for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

While there has been no specific information released from either BECD or Kuvera as to the specific plans for the Grand Palace, according to a news report by OzarksFirst.Com on the sale, Kuvera Partners released a press release on the sale Oct. 2. In that release, Tej Sundher, another of Kuvera’s partners said, “We’ve been part of the Branson tourist landscape since 1996 and have shown our commitment to the community with continued growth and investment. We’ve always believed in Branson as a great tourist destination. This is just an additional commitment to the City by our organization. It is such an exciting time as the City is beginning to implement the ‘Spirit of 76′ plan.”

“How exciting, “said Tammy Johnson, the General Manager for the Branson Tourism Center, one of Branson’s largest and most respected vacation planning services. “Kuvera Partners new commitment to Branson, based on its long time commitment to Branson with quality attractions such the Hollywood Wax Museum, Castle of Kaos, Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors and Shoot for the Stars Mini Golf, holds the promise of even more exciting things for the future of Branson and its visitors.”

How do we compare?

When comparing prices between different web sites, please make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Most web sites display individual prices before taxes and hidden fees, which they surprise you with at the last step in the check out process. And when you see a package price on our web site, it is the total price for all people in your party (not per person).

In many cases, when comparing our price to the total price including taxes and any hidden fees that you might get charged on other web sites, our prices will be lower. To learn more and to make sure that you are getting the best deal on your Branson vacation, please call us toll-free at:
